Of course you want the best care for yourself or a loved one, but how do you ensure that you are being provided with the highest quality of home health care possible?
How do you begin to feel comfortable with allowing another person into your home?
First, you need to ask questions.
But what should you ask?
One of the most important questions when picking an agency is: the screening process they use to select caregivers.
The process should include an in-depth, in-person interview covering their experience, personality, and professionalism; including:
- professional and personal reference checks
- a criminal background check
- competency testing
- verification of identity and eligibility to work
Other questions should include the agency’s history and reputation, size of their pool of workers, and what they charge for services.
Avatar Home Health always passes the test.

Client and caregiver satisfaction are a number one concern of our company.
We hire individuals who have experience working with a wide variety of clients so they can anticipate the client’s needs. The caregivers we refer also select the clients they wish to work with to better ensure they are happy with the referral.
Avatar Home Health was founded in Spring, TX in 2006. We employ more than 200 caring professionals, including bilingual staff and nurses, all of whom are committed to treating our patients and their families with the utmost respect, dignity, and compassion.
The office staff is continually in touch with the client, the significant family members, and our caregivers to ensure the client’s goals are being met and that the patient is satisfied with the services.
We want you to know, and to truly believe, that we are here to help.
